Thanks to a little push from a friend, I considered finally having my own blog.  I almost decided against it, thinking that I would have enough to write about.  But alas, here I am. And although writing this first little post is way more difficult that I thought it would be, I'm hoping that if I try something interesting will come of it.  Wish me luck!

In case you were wondering, "lien" is the first part of my last name, which is lots of fun to smush together with other words.  Plus, lien is a french word for connection, or bond.  Therefore the title is to describe what I hope will be a narrative of some of the adventures we have as a family that unite and strengthen us.
